Ova titula za mene označava kraj jednog dugog i teškog, ali i nevjerovatnog razdoblja
Jen Atkin (26) je u međuvremenu našla drugog muškarca i danas je u sretnom braku, a nedavno je osvojila krunu Miss Velike Britanije, piše Mirror.
Administratorica u zračnom prometu živi u Ulcebyju. Zamijenila je hranu iz dostave i brzih restorana zdravim obrocima te je tijekom dvije godine smršavjela 51 kilogram.
Imala je 108 kilograma. Tad se prijavila na izbor ljepote te je osvojila titulu Miss Scunthorpe, a zatim je 2018. godine išla na natjecanje kako bi postala Miss Engleske. Bila je prva pratilja.
Tada je odlučila da se više neće takmičiti na izborima ljepote, ali ipak je pristala učestvovati na takmičenju za Miss Velike Britanije. I osvojila je titulu prošle sedmice.

– Još sam u šoku zbog pobjede. Sretna sam i ne znam šta bih rekla. Iskreno, jedva vjerujem. Kad sam počela sa svim ovim, bilo je to za zabavu. Nikad nisam slutila dokle ću stići. Prije prekida sam jela velike porcije tjestenine, pizzu, čokoladu. Vikendom sam sjedila u pidžami i jela hranu iz dostave i na to trošila previše novca. Na dan kad je otišao mislila sam da je moj svijet stao. Plakala sam sedmicama i tješila se hranom. Ali na kraju je ispalo da je to najbolje što mi se dogodilo – nasmijala se.
Kaže kako je ubrzo krenula u teretanu i od tada se više nije osvrtala, nego se usmjerila na ljepše stvari u životu.
– Uspjela sam. Imam toliko planova tokom ovog mandata, pa i objavu country singla Spring – otkrila je za kraj.
