Najezda skakavaca poharala kontinent, scene su apokaliptične (VIDEO)

Požari u Australiji, koronavirus u Kini, zemljotresi, vulkani… samo su neke od prirodnih katastrofa koje su pogodile Zemlju krajem prethodne i početkom ove godine.

Ipak, jedna nepogoda “biblijskih razmjera” nije toliko u centru pažnje u medijima, a izgleda zastrašujuće.

Kako je objavio Severe Weather, istok Afrike pogodila je najezda milijardu skakavaca. Skakavci su preko Etiopije i Somalije dospjeli do Kenije, a ovakva najezda nije zabilježena sedam decenija.

Rezultat su uništene njive, usjevi i sve što je zeleno, i to u regiji koja ionako pati od nedostatka hrane.
